2nd Post gifts from Dad

Of course my dad when he was little. He also sent a 4th grade report card. And a couple class pictures. I think I may already have copies for.
Looking at these pictures I can see a huge family resemblance. My son Paul and Justen look so much like my dad its amazing!! Well and I admit my looks as well :)
Plus he sent pictures of my brother Mike when he was a baby. The last I talked to my brother is the same year we moved to Oregon 2000. So sad to lose contact with him.

Anyway....

Heard from my dad-bearing gifts again

I got a surpize package from my dad today. I was totally not expecting. Plus a nice letter I have not seen from my dad in years!!! He sounded like how he used to sound before he got weird..hard to explain.

Anyway here are a few pics he sent me (Fred you are welcome to snag them off of here. If you like a specific one I can email you a larger version. Hey my dad mentioned sending you some pics. Would love to see some if any of them apply to me of course, Far as family ones)

An Egg---hum weird

So I was out checking for eggs and reached in and was picking some eggs out of one of the nest boxes and discovered this

Now in the early part of the year they typically lay darker eggs so no surprise at color.. But look at the size of that egg!!! Weird huh?

Beautiful Skies this morning

Aren't these beautiful pictures of the clouds above. I took these this morning. I was sitting her and the kids just went off to school on the bus and seen these out the window and I couldn't help myself. I took my camera and was standing in the yard snapping. Matter of fact right after I put my camera away the sun started to shine right under the clouds where the bottom picture is. I knew by the time I got my camera set up, it would be gone. So left well enough alone.
Just beautiful!! Thank you Lord for this lovely day!

Good Morning

Good Morning!!!

Today is a beautiful new day that the Lord has made. Just want to say hello and I hope you have a blessed day!

My son Gabe was Abe Lincoln

Julionna and Gabe had a play called " Who wants to be President?" It was really neat to watch. It was set up like a game show, the Presidents were hid behind a wall such as you see in the second picture. Then the Presidents had to give facts about what they did etc.. and the game show guests had to guess what President it was. Gabe is fairly shy and he did very well. He is skinny like Abe and he looked so cute! Brian made his hat and beard. It was cute!!

A ZOO

Meet Mario and Di Vinci (above)
Meet "Beans" (Below)

Well we own a zoo of animals for sure. But all are taken very well care of and all are great!
My mom purchased 2 Llama's to help guard our goats. They are good boys and I cannot wait to sheer them and clean and card the wool. I have a wonderful lady in Washington who will spin the wool. I am excited about that. They get along great with the goats too. The lady we got them from is a sweetheart. I think we made a really good friends with her. She is great! She said these specific Llama's have awesome blood lines and of course she has all paperwork. But the point is the wool from them is suppose to be some of the best! Move out of the way yarn shops..lolol

Plus a ferret we decided to name Beans. I had a ferret when we first got this place. But did not have time to ferret proof anything and he disappeared. He was rescued by my sister Lori and she gave him to me.
This little girl made a nice addition to our family. I know we have tons of pets and most people would say I would NEVER have that many animals. But this is us and we love animals. I thought often about being a rescue place for them. I know how to hand raise birds from the egg and I know how to bottle feed about anything. Maybe one day...for now I am busy with what I got.
