2 of my pets gone :(

One of my cats disappeared. We think a fox or something like that got her. It was not like her to leave. AT ALL. We had Muffy for 4-5 years. Bam Gone

And this morning Brian found one of my other cats who I cherished and loved killed by a car. Baby she was an all black cat. It was not like her to go in the road. I think Buddy one of our dogs chased her. I do not have a picture of her. She will be missed terribly. If its not one thing, its another.
I am starting to feel that once all my animals are gone, I am not sure I ever want to own anymore. I can't handle the heartbreak of losing them. It hurts to much.

New Baby

Say hello to our new buck.. he is a sweetheart. His name is Opie.

I bottle feed Opie 4-5 times a day. Milking the goat 2 times a day. From 5 am to 5 pm. I feel like a new mom and am tired. But he is so cute. He runs to me when I say his name. He is almost a week old.

Birds

So we thought they were all female Mallards...one is not apparently..Its molting and its colors are changing!! HOW COOL IS THAT?Anyone want a Mallard duck when they have babies?

If you look closer you can see baby chicks eating and drinking with one of our bunnies. They get along great.

Babies and momma outside for the first time together. So fun to watch!!

EDITED June 26th
This morning I found mom with a bunch of feathers missing and her baby chicks all gone. We are not sure if we have a weasel or a fox but whatever it is has been eating our eggs and some of my mom's chicks, pulling them through a whole. Not sure if its the same animal as the one doing it to my mom's chickens or not. Whatever it is only goes after the babies and eggs.

Beauty of Spring

The beauty of Spring is here. Above is a close up the tree we have in our yard. The far away shot does not do justice for this tree of what you actually see in person!!! BEAUTIFUL!

Fishing

We had fun fishing this week-end. It was perfect fishing weather. We also went swimming in the Calapooia River but I did not take a camera when we went there. I wanted to get wet too ") It is so beautiful here in the spring/summer

Goodbye Beans

May 25th, 2009 My little beans snuck in the dishwasher while we were loading it and we did not know. My heart is broken though it was an accident the guilt is so strong at times I feel I can't breath and just cry and cry. This little ferret touched our lives in a joyous way. We will miss our bean bean forever!

Puppies-arg..

Yup we did our best to have our fencing up before Sadie went into heat and we were about a week to late. She just had her puppies last night! They are adorable! Blood Tick Hound (pure breed) the father is a neighbors dog. And Sadie is boxer/pit cross. She looks more like the boxer though. She was given to us by my dear sister Kim when we got the house. She is a good girl, its that she is so big and we already have so many dogs! The pups will be given away. Anyone want a pup?? I will be taking pics and posting on here from time to time!! Probably this week-end!!

After these she will be getting fixed. Then no more pups..all are fixed

So cute!! and...

This shelf is not the cute thing but it is one of my favorite things..my mom gave me this when Brian and I got engaged 17 years ago. This shelf is full of little things we collected along the way. Some items were purchased and some items found and some given. We love our treasures. This is a real printers drawer (type shelf)

We purchased 5 chickes (little banties) so adorable!

This sweet heart is 1 of 4 little mallard ducks. We got them at coastal farms. We are doing to have to clip wings for sure. This should be it for this year. The fresh eggs have been the best and having ducks keep the bugs and slugs away :) SO CUTE!
